Another upcoming exhibition...another flyer...
This one for the Digby gallery in Colchester which is part of the Mercury theatre. I really want to get some new prints or encaustics done for this exhibition but doubt I will make it on time. Anyway...the flyer as designed by me...

Exhibition done at last...

The Vistaprint flyers arrived in good time and look pretty smart too I am pleased to say. I can almost forgive them for causing me so much hassle.
Our show is on from the 6th to the 10th July between 11am and 6pm at the gallery at Redchurch street which is apparently very close to Liverpool street station. Please come and take a look. Personally I will be there all day Wednesday and of course at the private view on Thursday afternoon/evening.
I've finished some more Hammer cards..

The Snorkel? Seriously? I am going to have to give that one a watch!
and here are some that were commissioned:

Seriously how hard can it be....
to order publicity material for our show?!! No sooner do I get our 11 other artists to agree to our order before I actually place it then Vistaprint change the prices as I am putting it through. Grrrr..can't they just change it overnight and make it simple for people?? Anyway, here is our invite, mostly designed by Elliot from www.birchstudio.co.uk, mucked about by me and hopefully printed by Vistaprint whom I now dislike intensely.

On a totally different note - I am finally getting around to completing the cards for Strictly inks latest Hammer Horror offering. I'm going mostly with the posters for these I think because they are just so awesome. Although I am going cross-eyed trying to squish it all into trading card size. Here's a quick preview:

and finally, here is a picture of my chickens just because they make me laugh. Apparently a neighbour is proud that she has a den with 4 foxcubs at the end of her garden. Will foxes jump a 6ft fence? Maybe I should get big evil spikes on top of it.

London show - ta daa

One of my little prints is currently being used to advertise our graduation show at The Redchurch Street gallery in London. http://www.galleryinredchurchstreet.com/whats-on.php. I'll maybe post more about the photopolymer printing process that I've been using at some point in the future and hopefully be able to exchange some ideas with like-minded peoples. Anyway, here is one of the prints that comprise my final piece ( I forgot to scan the others!!!) And some more pics of them installed. The other pieces are created using an encaustic wax process - something else I'll document more closely later. They are so tactile, beeswax is just so delicious to work with.
